Nationwide Insurance

On December 17, 1925, the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation incorporated the Farm Bureau Mutual Automobile Insurance Company in Columbus, Ohio. At that time, Ohio law required 100 people to pledge to become policyholders. The first agents managed to recruit ten times that number, and on April 12, 1926, Farm Bureau Mutual started business with 1,000 policyholders.

Nationwide Insurance

Nationwide started out 80 years ago as a small auto insurance company. Since then the company has grown into one of the largest providers of auto insurance and financial services in the world. The company is famous for its excellent customer service. 90% of all surveyed customers who have had to file a claim say that they would recommend Nationwide Auto Insurance to their friends and family.

Nationwide has numerous auto insurance discounts. Some of the available discounts include multiple car discounts, long-term policyholder and accident free discounts. Nationwide Auto Insurance will even give drivers a discount of up to 15% when their teens earn an average grade of B or above on their report cards. Nationwide customers may get even further discounts by purchasing insurance for their homes, boats, motorcycles and identity theft from Nationwide.
